Abstract

Buku teks Biologi Kelas XI menyembunyikan ancaman serius karena memuat instruksi yang bersifat atemporal (tidak mencantumkan estimasi durasi waktu yang jelas), sehingga menciptakan kesenjangan antara tuntutan idealistik kurikulum dengan realitas alokasi waktu operasional di kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengungkap mengapa fitur instruksional yang idealis justru menciptakan ancaman ketidakpastian manajemen waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis analisis dokumen dan analisis kritis wacana Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) model Faircloug. Hasil penelitian didapatkan adanya kesenjangan signifikan antara tuntutan buku teks yang idealistik dan dukungan operasional yang minim. Wacana eksploratif ini menimbulkan ilusi kemandirian belajar padahal ketiadaan panduan waktu efektif memindahkan beban perencanaan temporal dan risiko operasional kurikulum kepada guru. Konsekuensinya, guru berisiko mengorbankan kedalaman eksplorasi demi mengejar cakupan materi, yang pada akhirnya merusak kualitas proses belajar dan menghambat pencapaian tujuan Kurikulum Merdeka.
