STRATEGI KELUARGA MISKIN DALAM MEMFASILITASI ANAK DIDALAM BELAJAR MEMBACA INFORMASI

Abstrak

The purpose of this research is twofold. The first is to identify the problems faced by poor families during the pandemic related to online learning. Second, the efforts made by poor families in overcoming the problems of children's learning. This study used a qualitative method, which was conducted in poor student families at SMP N 03 Bengkulu Selatan. The subjects of this study were 30 informants consisting of parents of children from poor families, children from poor families, teachers and cooperatives. Taking the subject of this study using purposive sampling. In testing the validity of the data is triangulation which is a technique of checking the validity of the data that is done by comparing the data obtained from each source. Milles and Huberman's data analysis stages starting from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study managed to find the following facts; there are 4 problems faced by poor families during the pandemic; (1) Do not have savings to buy learning facilities in the form of HP/Laptop. (2) Do not have time to accompany children to learn (3) do not have the academic ability to teach children (4) experience depression because they do not have a job. To overcome this, poor families employ three strategies (1) Borrow money from cooperatives, relatives so they can buy learning facilities (2) instruct children to use WIFI from the village office for online learning, (3) utilize BLT assistance for poor families and Assistance for poor students such as KIP (Smart Indonesia Card) and KIS (Healthy Indonesia Card). This situation shows that parents are always trying to provide learning facilities/infrastructure during the Covid-19 pandemic. This can be interpreted that poor families attach great importance to education, especially for their children
