Kontribusi Boy Group Nct 127 Dalam Menyebarkan Konsep Soft Masculinity Di Indonesia Pada Tahun 2019- 2021

Hubungan Internasional adalah bidang yang sering mereproduksi dan mempertahankan
maskulinitas, yang biasanya direpresentasikan melalui karakteristik fisik dan kekuasaan. Namun,
budaya populer kini memainkan peran signifikan dalam membentuk representasi identitas gender.
Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konstruksi sosial, konsep feminisme postmodern, konsep budaya
populer, dan konsep soft masculinity sebagai kerangka analisis. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif
kualitatif, dengan metode wawancara dan studi pustaka sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa narasumber mengamati adanya konstruksi sosial yang berbeda di
masyarakat Indonesia terkait fenomena soft masculinity, yang dipengaruhi oleh interaksi mereka
dengan budaya K-Pop Korea Selatan, khususnya melalui tindakan NCT 127. Dari analisis jawaban
responden, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aspek fisik, visual, kepribadian, dan perilaku NCT 127
memberikan pandangan baru terhadap konsep maskulinitas. Kesenjangan konsep gender antara
Indonesia dan Korea Selatan cukup besar, sehingga tampilan soft masculinity yang dibawakan oleh
NCT 127 dianggap sebagai hal yang tidak biasa di Indonesia, dan menawarkan perspektif baru
mengenai maskulinitas.
