The aim of this research is to describe the differences in the influence of the VAK (Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic) learning model and the AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition) learning model on students' poetry writing skills. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent multiple-group design. The research was conducted on fourth grade elementary school students in area 4 of Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. Through the cluster random sampling technique, 58 Batangkaluku Elementary School students were selected to be the research sample. Data collection was carried out through test techniques and analyzed descriptively and inferentially through the independent sample t test. The results of the research show that there are differences in the influence of the VAK and AIR learning models on poetry writing skills. The VAK learning model has a more significant effect on improving poetry writing skills compared to the AIR model.Downloads
