Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe whether or not there are benefits of applying LKPD cipher boxes on magnetic material to the activeness of grade IV students of SDN Plaosan I. LKPD uses a box password in applying magnetic material learning to grade IV students of SDN Plaosan 1. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The design of this study is experimental quantitative research. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The data collection technique is in the form of questionnaires. Student activeness questionnaire sheet is an instrument used to determine student's activeness. From the results of questionnaires filled out by grade IV students, researchers process data with quantitative and qualitative data analysis. LKPD uses a box password in applying magnetic material learning to grade IV students of SDN Plaosan 1. The results of this study obtained the results that the average activeness of grade IV students of SDN Plaosan I was 89.25% thus it was classified as "very good" based on the table of student activity criteria. In conclusion, the application of LKPD has proven useful for increasing the activeness of grade IV students of SDN Plaosan 1. This study is limited to describing the presence or absence of activeness experienced by grade IV students based on the results of questionnaires using activeness indicators.
