Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of IT-based learning media on student understanding of Islamic Religious Education subjects. This research is a qualitative research with literature review type. Information collection was carried out by looking for several important sources including primary sources from literature sources that discuss the Implementation of IT-Based Learning Media on Student Understanding in Islamic Religious Education Subjects and several other literature sources related to the research. The data collected is then analysed so as to obtain the results of the study which show that several theories underlie IT-based Islamic Religious Education in learning: 1) Theory of constructivism; 2) Meaningful learning theory; 3) Learning technology theory. The implementation of IT-based learning media in Islamic Education learning must be adjusted to the characteristics of students, learning materials, and learning objectives. inhibiting factors in the implementation of IT-based learning media on student understanding of Islamic Education subjects can be grouped into two, namely internal factors and external factors, Supporting factors can be grouped into two, namely internal factors and external factors.
