This study aims to determine the effect of tracing activities using wool thread as a medium on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Makassar Islamic School before and after being given treatment and to determine whether or not there is an influence of tracing activities using wool thread as a medium on children's fine motor skills. 5-6 years old at TKIT Makassar Islamic School. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research type. The population in this study was 16 children, namely all students aged 5-6 at TKIT Makassar Islamic School. The sample in this study used the entire population, namely 16 children, 8 children as the control group and 8 children as the experimental group. Data collection techniques use tests, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Sigj Rank Test. The results of the data analysis obtained were Asym (2-tailed) = 0.011 < 0.05, which means that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, thus the fine motor skills of children in the experimental group were better than those in the control group, this proves that tracing activities using wool thread had an influence. which is significant for the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Makassar Islamic School.Downloads
