PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM ABAD 21 PADA PENDIDIKAN DASAR: MENELAAH HAKIKAT, PRINSIP, DAN LANDASAN FILOSOFIS DI ERA DIGITAL

This research investigates the meaning, principles, and philosophical foundations of the 21st-century basic education curriculum. This research discusses the issues and prospects that arise as a result of technological changes in the world of education. Additionally, a curriculum that can accommodate digital skills is needed. This research synthesizes theoretical and empirical results from educational journals from 2020–2025 using qualitative content analysis and literature review methods. The research shows that critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy will be the focus of the 21st-century curriculum. Philosophically, the development of this curriculum is based on the streams of progressivism, constructivism, and humanism that align with the needs of modern learners. This study provides recommendations for educators and policymakers to redesign the basic education curriculum to meet the demands of the times.Downloads
