Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran hasil analisis kebutuhan model microteaching berbasis keterampilan abad 21 untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik calon guru sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei sebagai desain penelitiannya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Partisipan penelitian meliputi pendidik dan siswa di Kota Surakarta. Hasil penelitian yang dihasilkan adalahTingkat kreativitas guru dan mahasiswa PGSD masih tergolong rendah, sehingga perkembangan pada abad 21 masih dianggap kurang. Dengan demikian, memiliki keterampilan yang memadai dan siap bersaing pada abad 21 menjadi hal yang penting. Pendidik SD memiliki penguasaan teknologi yang paling rendah karena faktor usia dan minimnya pembekalan teknologi. Persentase capaian pembelajaran mahasiswa PGSD Surakarta kurang dari 75% yang berarti capaian pembelajaran masih tergolong rendah. Persentase tersebut dinilai belum memenuhi standar rata-rata yang ditetapkan oleh mahasiswa PGSD Surakarta, sehingga perlu disesuaikan dengan keterampilan abad 21 yang memuat 4C. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat mewakili seluruh mata kuliah yang telah disediakan, keterampilan kreativitas dapat mewakili mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan inovasi pembelajaran, keterampilan komunikasi dapat mewakili proses pembelajaran microteaching dan media pembelajaran, serta keterampilan kolaborasi dapat mewakili strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan mahasiswa bagi calon mahasiswa. Sebagai kesimpulan, penelitian terkait microteaching dan kemampuan pedagogik mahasiswa dan guru sangat perlu dilakukan.
