This research is motivated by problems encountered in teaching and learning activities (KBM), most students are less enthusiastic in following the ongoing Geography teaching and learning process, especially if the teacher only uses conventional methods such as lecture methods when delivering a material and placing students as passive objects. Most students also consider Geography to be a boring subject because it requires a lot of memorization. Students look bored and do not focus on the material being taught, The type of research used is quantitative descriptive type (quasi experiment). The population in this study was all phase E at SMAN 9 Bungo Regency registered in the 2024-2025 academic year consisting of 3 phases with a total of 96 students. And the sample in this study was class E1 and E2, Based on the research data, there is a level of learning motivation of students in the experimental class of 78.3 with motivated criteria and 44.8% of the control class with fairly motivated criteria. The results of the hypothesis test of this study using the results of the t-test with a significant value of 0.015 <0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, so that the data can be concluded that there is an influence of interactive media based on augmented reality in increasing the motivation to learn geography phase E at SMAN 9 Bungo Regency.Downloads
