Persepsi Pemustaka terhadap Layanan Koleksi Khusus di Upt Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Hatta Berdasarkan Model Libqual+TM

This study aimed to describe library users' perceptions of the special collection services of Bung Hatta at the Proklamator Bung Hatta Library through four key dimensions: affect of service, library as a place, personal control and information access. This study used a quantitative descriptive research design. Data were collected from 99 active library users who were selected using random sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted through a structured questionnaire consisting of twenty-five statements using a Likert scale. The analysis involved calculating the mean scores of each dimension and interpreting the results using interval classification. The findings showed that the overall perception of users was in the very satisfied category with a total average score of 3.35. Specifically, the dimension of affect of service scored 3.40, , library as a place dimension obtained the highest score of 3.49, while the dimensions of personal control and information access scored 3.24 and 3.27, respectively. The results indicated that library users were highly satisfied with the competence of librarians and the comfort of facilities, though improvements were still needed in information accessibility and supporting resources. The study concluded that the special collection services of Bung Hatta remained relevant and positively perceived by users in the digital era.Downloads
