The problem in this study is due to the low learning outcomes of fifth gradestudents who only focus on open books when learning without the help of media.The problem in this study is how the application of MAGIC media can improvestudent learning outcomes in understanding the concept of science of fifth gradestudents of SDN Cibeureum Hilir CBM, Sukabumi City. This study is a classroomaction research (CAR) which aims to determine the process and results of theapplication of MAGIC media in science learning on the material of the humanrespiratory system. Data collection techniques used are observation, testing anddocumentation. The subjects in this study were class teachers and studentstotaling 30 people consisting of 14 women and 16 men. This study was conductedwith two research cycles. In the learning cycle I, the results of the study showed anaverage result in understanding the concept of science of 66.8 and the percentageof completeness of the learning test results was 40%. In cycle II, the results of thestudy on learning with MAGIC media showed an average value of 80 with apercentage of completeness of learning outcomes of 80%. The conclusion of thisstudy is that the application of MAGIC media in understanding science conceptscan improve the learning process and results in understanding science conceptsof class V students at SDN Cibeureum Hilir CBM, Sukabumi City.Downloads
