The research conducted by Dini Fransiska Baun, Student ID 2101140009, from the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Year 2025, titled "The Use of Problem-Based Learning Model in Teaching Natural and Man-Made Features in My Region to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Grade III at UPTD SD Inpres Oesapa Kecil 1," aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model. The background of this study stems from the predominance of teacher-centered learning, the lack of problem-solving skills, minimal collaboration, and low levels of critical thinking, which often result in passive student engagement. In addition, the continued use of conventional teaching methodssuch as lectures, Q&A sessions, and homework assignments remains a classic factor affecting the effectiveness of the learning process. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 30 third-grade students, consisting of 19 men and 11 women. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and documentation. The results of this study showed an improvement in student learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II. The average score in Cycle I was 74.66 with a mastery percentage of 46.66%, while in Cycle II, the average score increased to 95.33 with a mastery percentage of 90%. Thus, there was a 20.67- point increase in average scores and a 43.34% increase in mastery from Cycle I to Cycle II. It can be concluded that the use of the Problem-Based Learning model in teaching natural and man-made features in the local area can significantly improve the learning outcomes of third-grade students at UPTD SD Inpres Oesapa Kecil 1.Downloads
