PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN WEBSITE TERHADAP KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS 4 PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS

This study aims to determine the effect of using web-based learning media on the learning activeness of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject. The research was motivated by the low level of student participation in conventional learning processes. A quasi-experimental method was used, applying a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects consisted of two classes: an experimental group using the Scarth website media and a control group using conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through observations and questionnaires, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, t-tests, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed that the use of web-based media had a significant impact on increasing student learning activeness. This was evident from the posttest mean differences between the experimental and control groups. The N-Gain index of the experimental group was also higher than that of the control group, indicating a more effective improvement in learning activeness through the use of website-based media. Based on these findings, it is concluded that web-based learning tools such as Scarth can serve as an innovative alternative to create more interactive and engaging learning environments and enhance students’ active involvement in the learning process.Downloads
