Discovery learning is a method of understanding concepts, meanings, and relationships through an intuitive process, which ultimately leads to a conclusion. This animated video media is suitable for use and can be used as a solution to problems in learning on science learning outcomes. Science (Natural Science) is one of the integrated subjects in elementary schools that focuses on students getting real learning experiences in order to develop their competence to understand scientifically in the surrounding environment. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of the Discovery Learning learning model assisted by animated videos on learning outcomes on energy material and its changes at SDN 102 Palembang. The research subjects were class IV B at SDN 102 Palembang. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the study were seen after conducting a pretest, treatment, posttest on the experimental group and the control class so that the results of the "Paired Sample Test" calculation above were obtained, the Sig. (2-Tailed) value was 0.001 <0.05, so in this case HO was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of the pretest and posttest, which means that there is an influence of the use of the discovery learning model assisted by animated videos on learning outcomes in the material on energy and its changes at SDN 102 Palembang.
