Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interest and love among young people for
the moral values contained in the Parno Adat tradition in Kampung Dalam Village,
which has led to a degradation of local wisdom values that should be passed down
from generation to generation. This study aims to identify and analyze the moral
values in the Parno Adat tradition. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptive
research method with research subjects consisting of young people, customary
leaders, village heads, and the community. The researcher employs data collection
techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research
results describe that there are three important moral values, namely the moral value
of the relationship between humans and God, the relationship between humans and
others, and the relationship between humans and themselves, which is inseparable
from social life in the community.
