IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) TERHADAP MATA PELAJARAN IPAS KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This article aims to demonstrate the application of a project-based learning model in the IPAS subject for fifth-grade elementary school students and to reflect on the pedagogical development of educators during clinical teaching practice. This study employs a simple action research approach, utilizing data collected through pre- and post-tests or across several stages of implementation. The research subjects were fifth-grade students at SDN Srondol Kulon 02 in Semarang City. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the project-based learning model described student participation in Stimulus, Problem Identification, Data Collection, Data Processing, Verification, and Drawing Conclusions. Collaborative reflection with clinical supervisors also indicated an improvement in educators’ abilities to design instruction, manage the classroom, and provide feedback. These findings suggest that clinical learning practices can serve as a space for developing educators’ professional competencies while simultaneously enhancing the quality of the learning process.
