PERANCANGAN SISTEM MONITORING KEKERUHAN DAN KETINGGIAN AIR BERBASIS IOT MENGGUNAKAN SENSOR TURBIDITY DAN ULTRASONIK

This study seeks to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system water turbidity and water level using an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller. The system was developed to provide an automated monitoring solution capable of delivering water condition information remotely through an internet connection. The proposed system utilizes the SEN0189 turbidity sensor to measure water turbidity in Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU) and the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to determine water level. Measurement data collected from both sensors are processed by the ESP32 and transmitted to the Blynk application via the internet, allowing users to monitor water conditions in real time. System performance was evaluated using four water samples with different turbidity characteristics, namely mineral water, groundwater, tea, and coffee. The experimental results indicate that the turbidity sensor successfully distinguished different turbidity levels among the tested samples, while the ultrasonic sensor accurately measured water level. Furthermorethe integration between the ESP32, sensors, and the Blynk platform enabled reliable real-time monitoring of water conditions. Therefore, the developed system offers a practical, efficient, and accessible solution for remote water quality monitoring.
