EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA AUDIO VIDEO EDUKASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN DAMPAK PERNIKAHAN USIA DINI PADA SISWA SMA NEGERI 1 JAWAIKABUPATEN SAMBAS

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' understanding of the impact of early marriage before and after treatment, and to prove the effectiveness of educational audio video media on students of Class X 1 SMA Negeri 1 Jawai, Sambas Regency. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data were collected through observation, Likert scale questionnaires, and documentation on a single sample of 33 students selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis used descriptive percentages, N-Gain Test, and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that the average student understanding increased significantly from the pretest of 70% (Good) to 85% (Very Good) in the posttest, with the highest increase in the health aspect (17%). The N-Gain Test analysis produced an average N-Gain Score of 53.00% (Moderate category). Meanwhile, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test hypothesis test showed a Z value = −5.012 and Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. Since the significance value is 0.000 <0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that classical guidance services using educational audio-video media are effective in increasing students' understanding of the impact of early marriage.
