Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of interpersonal communication carried out by Ustadz Iwan in strengthening the social solidarity of Majelis Ratib members through the "Blessed Friday" program in Sukorejo Village. Effective interpersonal communication between religious leaders and congregations is a key factor in fostering collective awareness to share with others. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was conducted through participant observation of the Blessed Friday activities, in-depth interviews with Ustadz Iwan and Majelis Ratib members, and related documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions to understand the dynamics of the interactions that occurred. The results show that the interpersonal communication built by Ustadz Iwan uses an approach of openness, empathy, and a supportive attitude. Through dialogic and personal interactions, Ustadz Iwan is able to motivate members of the Majelis Ratib to actively participate in social activities. The social solidarity that is built is not merely a bond of religious rituals, but is manifested in the form of real cooperation and concern for the economic burden of the community in Sukorejo Village. The "Blessed Friday" activity functions as a communication medium as well as a forum for devotion that strengthens emotional ties between members of the assembly, thereby creating strong social integration in the community.
