This research was motivated by the low level of conceptual understanding among fifth-grade students at SDN Lubang Baru on the topics of Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Greatest Common Factor (GCF). Most students were unable to explain the concepts they had learned, lacked confidence when answering questions, and experienced difficulties in solving problems that required the application of mathematical concepts. This study aimed to describe the conceptual understanding of fifth-grade students on the topics of LCM and GCF after the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, as well as to identify students' responses toward the implementation of the model. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach involving all 10 fifth-grade students of SDN Lubang Baru (3 boys and 7 girls), who were selected using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through a conceptual understanding test in the form of essay questions and a student response questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively using the mean score and the percentage of learning mastery. The results showed that the students' conceptual understanding of LCM and GCF through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model was categorized as High, with a mean score of 76.5. Classical learning mastery reached 80%, indicating that 8 out of 10 students achieved the minimum mastery criterion. In addition, students' responses to the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model were categorized as Very Interesting, with an average percentage of 81.8%.
