PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL PEMBELAJARAN IPAS BERBASIS PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PjBL) PADA MATERI MAKHLUK HIDUP DAN LINGKUNGANNYA MELALUI PROYEK ECOPRINT UNTUK SISWA KELAS X SMK

This research was driven by the limited availability of adequate IPAS instructional materials in schools. Most existing materials fail to capture students’ interest and are not yet fully aligned with the student-centered approach required under the Merdeka Curriculum. To address this gap, a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) e-module tailored to Merdeka Curriculum principles was designed as an alternative resource for IPAS instruction. This research and development (R&D) study applied the 4-D model, comprising four phases: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Product feasibility was assessed by four expert validators covering content, language, and media expertise, together with one practicing teacher, as well as 13 tenth-grade students from SMK Negeri 10 Merangin who took part as trial participants. Data were gathered through validity and practicality questionnaires distributed to teachers and students, and the resulting scores were analyzed using a Likert scale. Findings show that the developed PjBL-based IPAS e-module reached an average validity score of 97%, placing it in the “highly valid” category, with content feasibility at 100%, language at 96%, presentation at 96%, and graphic design at 97%. Practicality ratings averaged 4.0 from teachers and 3.95 from students, both falling into the “highly practical” category. These findings suggest that the e-module is user-friendly and engaging, helps students grasp the material, and supports a project-based approach that encourages more active participation in learning. It can therefore be concluded that the PjBL-based IPAS e-module on the topic of living things and their environment, designed for tenth-grade vocational students, satisfies both validity and practicality standards and is suitable for classroom use.
