ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN KOLABORASI SISWA KELAS IV SDN 40 KOTA BIMA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model and the collaboration skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 40 Kota Bima. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. The research subjects consisted of the fourth-grade teacher and 27 students, with five students selected as interview informants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was established through source and technique triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL consisted of six stages: determining the fundamental question, planning the project, preparing the schedule, monitoring project implementation, assessing the project results, and evaluating the learning experience. During the project of creating a dream garden plan based on square and rectangular materials, students' collaboration skills were demonstrated through cooperation, active and effective communication, division of tasks and responsibilities, mutual respect, and problem solving. However, student participation in these five aspects was not yet fully even, as some students still required guidance and assistance. The implementation of PjBL was supported by student enthusiasm, peer cooperation, teacher guidance, the availability of learning media and facilities, and school support. Meanwhile, the obstacles included limited time, differences in students' abilities, inactive students, limited tools and materials, and reading difficulties experienced by some students.
