MEMBACA JEJAK AYAH: PENGARUH KETERLIBATAN AYAH TERHADAP ASPIRASI KARIER MAHASISWA AKHIR DI SURABAYA

Final-year students often experience career indecision during the transition into the workforce, and psychological readiness for this transition is influenced by external factors such as father involvement. This study examined the effect of father involvement on the career aspirations of final-year students in the city of Surabaya, selected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and simple linear regression analysis with the aid of SPSS. Father involvement and Final-year students career aspirations were both in the moderate category. Father involvement had a positive and significant effect on career aspirations (B = 0,444; t = 15,968; p< 0,001; R = 0,678; R² = 0,459), accounting for 45,9% of the variance in career aspirations. These findings confirm the importance of father involvement in shaping students career aspirations during the emerging adulthood phase.
