STRATEGI PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI KEGIATAN ORIENTASI PESERTA DIDIK BARU

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies for building students' character through new student orientation activities. This research uses data collection method with literature study. The data obtained is then collected, and interpreted so that conclusions are obtained regarding the formation of the character of students through new student orientation activities. Data search was carried out using the help of search engines such as Google Scholar, iPusnas, "Research Gate", and other indexed journals. The results of the study concluded that student orientation activities are a prelude for students to adapt to their new environment. In addition, the purpose of carrying out student orientation activities is as an initial effort to form character for new students. Both teachers and senior siblings can encourage and assist new students in adapting and training their character so that they can respect moral values and have a nationalist spirit.
