UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MATERI PENGURANGAN DAN PENJUMLAHAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA KELAS 1B SDN LOWOKWARU 2 MALANG

Based on observations made during the Guided Field Practice in grade 1B of SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang, the students' proficiency in mathematics has not been fully optimized. Some of the students are still perplexed about placing tens and units, while others are facing difficulty in comprehending simple story problems. While the teacher's explanation of the subject matter is easy to understand, the students are unable to solve the problems and feel lost during evaluations conducted the following day. This study aims to determine: 1) the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning metode in teaching addition and subtraction to grade 1B students of SDN Lowokwaru 2 Malang, and 2) the enhancement in the students' learning outcomes after using the Problem Based Learning metode. This research comprises of two cycles: planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The results reveal that the teachers have successfully implemented the Problem Based Learning metode, resulting in a boost in the students' learning outcomes.Downloads
