UPAYA GURU PPKn UNTUK MEWUJUDKAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA (STUDI DI SMP NEGERI 2 MATARAM)

Abstract

The research was motivated by the birth of the concept of the Pancasila Student Profile which is part of the independent curriculum initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Reasearch and Technology as an answer to the question “what kind of student profile do we want to produce through our education system in Indonesia?” and will officially implement it in the 2024/2025 academic year, so that schools that implement the independent curriculum before that academic year are said to be implementing it voluntarily. The objectives of this research are: 1) to find out how PPKn teachers make efforts to realize the Pancasila Student Profile at SMP Negeri 2 Mataram, 2) to find out the factors that influence the efforts of PPKn teachers to realize the Pancasila Student Profile at SMP Negeri 2 Mataram. the approach used in this research is qualitative with a case study type of research. Data collection in this research is by interviews, observation and documentation, the data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, adn drawing conclusions. Walidity of data by triangulation using sources, technique, and time. The results of the research show; 1) the efforts of PPKn teachers to realize the Pancasila Student Profile at SMP Negeri 2 Mataram were carried out in the preparation, implementation, and assesment stages, 2) factors that influence the efforts of PPKn teachers, supporting factors are the competence of PPKn teachers, the motivation of PPKn teachers, the discipline of PPKn teachers, the leadership of the principal, schools policies, the school environment, supervision of school supervisors, and government policies. The inhibiting factors are, students who are still picky about their friends, discipline in collecting and completing assignments, and students courage in presenting assignments. This topic in interesting because SMP Negeri 2 Mataram is one of the schools that implemented the independent curriculum voluntarily before it was officially implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Reasearch and Technology nationally.
