Abstract

This research was motivated by students lack of interest in studying dance which resulted in the learning process becoming passive. The use of learning media is not optimal so that the learning process becomes monotonous and students quickly feel bored. The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics, validity and practicality of developing Tenun dance learning videos. The research method used is the research and development method. The research subjects were teachers at SD N Pandeanlamper 3, SD N Sawah Besar 2, and SD Muhammadiyah 11 as well as students. The analysis technique for testing product validity is validation by media experts and material experts. Based on the validation test results of media experts and material experts, a percentage of 100% for media and 100% for material was obtained. Based on the validation results, the development of the Weaving dance learning video for grade III SBdP elementary school students is very valid and suitable for use without revision. Based on the research results, the advice given is that teachers can maximize the use of learning media such as Tenun dance learning videos to provide dance material to attract students' focus and attention in the dance learning process. Teachers are also expected to be able to develop learning videos, especially in the field of dance, which are more creative and innovative.
