Dampak globalisasi terhadap budaya dan sistem pendidikan merupakan isu yangsignifikan. Beberapa pihak menganggapnya sebagai ancaman bagi institusitradisional seperti keluarga dan sekolah, sementara pandangan lain melihatnyasebagai peluang untuk menggantikan tradisi dengan sikap yang lebih modern.Jurnal ini akan menganalisis dampak positif dan negatif globalisasi terhadappendidikan di negara-negara berkembang.Sistem pendidikan yang efektif menjadi landasan bagi terciptanya peluang untukmenjalani kehidupan yang layak. Menjamin akses yang memadai terhadappendidikan bagi semua anak merupakan fungsi utama sektor publik di semuanegara, terlepas dari tingkat pendapatannya. Jurnal ini berargumen bahwapendidikan adalah elemen inti dalam masyarakat serta menjadi dasar bagi pilihandemokratis. Ketimpangan peluang pendidikan antarnegara merupakan salah satupenyebab utama ketidaksetaraan global. Individu hanya dapat berkontribusi danmemperoleh manfaat dari globalisasi jika mereka memiliki pengetahuan,keterampilan, nilai-nilai, serta kapasitas dan hak yang diperlukan untuk memenuhikebutuhan dasar hidup mereka.Downloads
