Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive research, namely a literature review which aims to describe the researchers' findings in several articles published in journals. which aims to determine the impact of the Problem Based Learning learning model on Grade 5 Students' Critical Thinking Ability in Learning Rectangular Shaped Mathematics. The results of the research show that (1) The mathematical critical thinking abilities of students who take part in learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model are higher than good compared to students who take part in conventional learning. (2) Positive student responses to the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, thus it can be concluded that students are motivated in learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model.
