Abstract

Currently the visiting various interesting places around the world both in business and travel matters is become a global trend. The Indonesian government is aggressively promoting various superior destinations in Indonesia, including sports tourism. This is because of the domino effect of regional tourism development; is the improvement of the people's economy, and of course foreign exchange for the country. Some regions also competed to develop Sports Tourism, including Kuningan regency with the implementation of Tour de Linggarjati. This article seeks to highlight the success of Tour de Linggarjati and its significant impact on Kuningan district.

Author Biography

Taufik Taufik, Jurusan Hubungan Internasional Universitas Pasundan

Taufik adalah dosen Jurusan Hubungn Internasional Unpas Bandung sejak tahun 2015 hingga saat ini. Dia merupakan lulusan sarjana (S1) dari tempat mengabdinya saat ini tahun 2012 dan melanjutkan studinya (S2) di Jurusan yang sama di Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta. Selain aktif mengajar di Unpas dan Unikom dia juga menjabat sebagai Ketua Laboratorium Hubungan Internasional Fisip Unpas. Fokus dan minat kajianya ialah Asia Tenggara, Pariwisata Internasional dan Isu-isu Global Kontemporer, dan telah menghasilkan beberapa tulisan diantaranya; Governance Value Chain: Pengembangan Wisata Teluk Palu (2016), Climate Changes and its Impact on Indonesian Foods Security (2017).
