Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy, kecemasan matematika, dan pemahaman matematis. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan meliputi seluruh siswa di salah satu SMP di Depok. Sampel penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VIII. Masalah yang diteliti, yaitu pengaruh langsung self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis, kecemasan matematika terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis, self-efficacy terhadap kecemasan matematika dan sebaliknya, serta pengaruh tidak langsung self-efficacy terhadap pemahaman matematis melalui kecemasan matematika, dan kecemasan matematika terhadap pemahaman matematis melalui self-efficacy. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh langsung yang bernilai positif self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis, pengaruh langsung yang bernilai negatif kecemasan matematika terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis, pengaruh langsung yang bernilai negatif self-efficacy terhadap kecemasan matematika, pengaruh langsung yang bernilai negatif kecemasan matematika terhadap self-efficacy, serta pengaruh tidak langsung yang bernilai positif self-efficacy terhadap pemahaman matematis melalui kecemasan matematika, dan pengaruh tidak langsung yang bernilai negatif kecemasan matematika terhadap pemahaman matematis melalui self-efficacy.
