LITERATUR REVIEW: ANALISIS MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBASIS STEM PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KOMPUTASI SISWA SMP

This study aims to systematically review the integration of the Discovery Learning model with the STEM approach in science education and its contribution to developing computational thinking skills among junior high school students. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, 12 selected articles published between 2019 and 2025 were analyzed based on thematic relevance and alignment with the research objectives. The findings indicate that the integration of Discovery Learning and STEM effectively enhances 21st-century skills, particularly computational thinking abilities such as problem-solving, algorithmic thinking, and pattern recognition. Among the reviewed literature, the study by Sa’adah, Putri, & Yuliana (2023) was identified as the most relevant, as it incorporates all key aspects of this review. Overall, the findings provide a theoretical and practical foundation for educators and curriculum developers to design innovative, contextual, and high-level thinking-oriented science learning strategies.Downloads
