TINJAUAN LITERATUR : PEMANFAATAN MEDIA DIGITAL PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MENIGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA SMP

Education in Indonesia continues to develop along with advances in science and technology, demanding innovation in Natural Science (IPA) learning to improve students' understanding of concepts. This study aims to examine digital media and learning models that are effective in increasing understanding of science concepts in lower level schools through a systematic literature review. Data was obtained from 22 articles published in 2020–2025 using the Publish or Perish application with related keywords. The analysis shows that digital learning media such as virtual laboratories, augmented reality (AR), interactive videos, quiz applications (Quizizz, Wordwall), and interactive e-books, are effective in helping students understand abstract science concepts in a more concrete and fun way. In addition, learning models such as Problem Based Learning (PBL), Discovery Learning, and Project Based Learning (PjBL) combined with digital media have been proven to increase student engagement, critical thinking, and deep understanding of science material. This decision recommends integrating interactive digital media and constructivism-based learning models in science learning to create active, contextual and meaningful learning experiences.Downloads
